Overview
The Italian Julian Alps (Alpi Giulie in Italian) and the Carnic Alps are where the mountains go wild. Sharp peaks and impressive heights create a dramatic backdrop that extends below the surface, where spectacular canyons have been carved by water over time, and make for an exhilarating playground. These creeks feed into the Fella River in the northeastern corner of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region.

Availability: Mid April to mid October. Book in advance, min. 2 weeks for July and August.

Restrictions
- Children under 14 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
- You must refrain from being under the influence of alcohol or other psychotropic substances during the activity.
- For canyoning activities, it's necessary to know how to swim.
- You must inform us of any medical conditions that could influence anyone's performance during the trip.
- Changes to bookings or the number of participants will be accepted up to 24 hours before trip departure.
- Alpi Center reserves the right to alter the program based on weather conditions or any unusual circumstances that could compromise the safety of the guided activity.

There is a minimal risk of injury, particularly if you follow our instructions precisely. Canyoning is generally safe and an exciting adventure for most people. However, minor bumps and bruises can be expected due to the slippery environment.
Yes, if you’re more adventurous, daring, and fit, you might prefer this option. However, families with teenagers should consider choosing the summer months when it’s warmer. As canyons are influenced by rainfall and not dam-controlled, water levels may vary throughout the season.
Yes, the maximum weight limit for canyoning is 115 kg for women and 125 kg for men. However, please note that being fit is also essential.
We do not provide photos of the activity, nor do we recommend bringing cameras unless they are waterproof. As an alternative, we offer GoPro rentals and helmets equipped with camera mounts for a rate of 20 EUR.
Yes. A solo traveler can be grouped with other travelers on departing trips. However, the trip departure will confirm if there are at least three paying customers. Sometimes, your desired trip may not get confirmed and an alternative option will be offered to you.
