Goriška brda

An hour-long scenic drive along the Soča Valley takes you to a tiny, walled medieval town of Šmartno and climb the Gonjače tower for views of the hills blanketed with vineyards and orchards. At the work-of-art wine cellar in Dobrovo, you’ll sample five different wines. Additionally, you can pair more tastes with local food (available at an extra cost). We highly recommend not leaving Brda without a bottle of Rebula, the golden-yellow queen of Brda vineyards.
